Meet Jenny Maximuk, a Registered Nurse Practitioner, who tells us about her role in Family Medicine with Vista Community Clinic. As an RN, she sees patients who are 18 and over coming into the clinic for primary care and specialty care, assisting the doctors as well as seeing her own patients. Jenny also works with a handful of people including Front Desk staff, Medical Assistants, and the Doctors.

Registered Nurse (Labor & Delivery NICU)

Meet a Labor & Delivery (L&D) Nurse who cares for mothers during labor and birth and provides the newborn’s initial postpartum care under the supervision of a physician. They must excel in communication and understanding the parent’s psychological and medical needs. Tri-City Medical Center’s Beatrice Riggs French Center for Women and Newborns offers a complete program of childbirth services to help each family get ready for their new baby. Our state-of-the-art technology and award-winning professionals provide the best possible care. Our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is the largest in North County and cares for newborns in need of advanced care.

Registered Nurse (Cardiac)

Meet a Cath Lab Nurse who assists doctors and provides care to cardiac patients during the post-catheterization recovery period for the Cardiovascular Health Institute (CVHI). CVHI provides educational resources, screening programs and expert advice through our staff of Nurse Clinicians and Physicians. We have combined the efforts of physicians from Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology to design programs that utilize the latest technology to treat diseases of the heart and vascular system. The Institute delivers coordinated care through a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, nurses and hospital personnel who are constantly monitoring safety and quality, while also designing new programs to treat cardiovascular problems when they occur and to prevent them whenever possible.

Meet Abby Doyle, a registered nurse who works as a home nurse for clients of At Home Nursing Care.
