Meet the Chief External Affairs Officer (CEAO) who oversees the External Affairs department which provides marketing, communications, government affairs and community engagement services for Tri-City Medical Center. The department has a Government Affairs & Community Engagement Manager, Marketing & Communications Manager, Community Engagement & Event Specialist and Marketing & Communications Specialist positions. Together, these roles work to maintain a good public image, build strategic relationships that help to make an impact in the community and develop external and internal communication plans that improve the quality of care. Some examples of activities these roles partake in include designing and implementing a social media strategy, content development for print, video, and online, website design, coordinating events and programs for the community and hospital, creating and maintaining strategic business partnerships with government agencies and community organizations, and identifies opportunities to reach new markets.
