Meet Sean Stone, HVAC Maintenance Specialist, who tells us all about his role with the City of Oceanside Water Public Works Department. A HVAC technician performs maintenance on plumbing, electrical and mechanical components of complex heating and air conditioning units while taking care to avoid injury from electrical equipment, toxic fumes and hazardous materials. In Sean’s role, you may be required to go on service calls to homes/businesses where the work may be in extreme hot and cold temperatures or in high places or cramped spaces.
