About Program Director

Meet Emily Dutcher, Program Director, who tells us all about her role with B.A.S.E. Programs at Ivey Ranch Elementary School, an expanded learning program that provides quality enrichment opportunities to elementary aged students during non-school hours. A Program Director must work well under pressure, think creatively, and must be great at multitasking. Some duties as a program director may include assisting in the preparation and implementation of monthly lesson plans, leading a class in age appropriate lessons, coordination with school faculty, and providing quality interaction with students, teachers and parents. This is an excellent position for a recent graduate and/or someone desiring a career in education.
